Paddle Pals
A downloadable game for Windows
Paddle Pals is a competitive VR table tennis simulator enhanced by a dynamic power-upsystem. In addition to realistic paddle and ball physics, players can stock up on gold andspend it on modifiers that temporarily alter the flow of the match. Modifiers range fromdefensive abilities, such as a “Guardian Angel” that prevents a losing point, to strategicboosts like the “Gambler,” which rewards win streaks with extra currency. The multiplayerexperience is powered by Mirror, providing a state-of-the-art networking framework thatensures a smooth and consistent online feeling for all players. By blending authentic sportsmechanics with tactical power-ups, the game introduces a unique layer of decision-makingand replay value beyond traditional table tennis.
Paddle Pals is suitable for players who love quick and skill-based gameplay, but they shouldnot be afraid of unexpected things and chaos. Our main audience is 16–35 year-old peoplewho already enjoy VR games or multiplayer titles like "Rocket League" or "Fall Guys". It’s for people who like competition but still want to laugh in the process. We also want to attract casual gamers, party gamers, and even people who are not gamers and just wantto play tennis and have fun, or sportsmen who would like to play their favourite sportalso online. The game is good for beginners, but there’s also things for advanced playerslooking to improve, compete, or just engage in care free fun activities. The goal of ourunique modifier system is to make the game fun for everyone.
